As the face of the glide wears down, the bridges can be recessed again with a knife, razor or Dremel tool. Most cleaners prefer a slot glide.
Hole Glides- The easiest to push, quick dry times, and the best choice for cleaners suffering from back pain, elbow, wrist, and shoulder issues. Holes are great for cleaning area rugs, edges and corners won’t lift while cleaning. Ideal for wool carpet and rugs. Pre-Vac is necessary to remove excess debris before wet extraction. The best choice for #3 blower TMs and portable extractors.
Hybrid Glides- Combination of slot and hole, easier to push than a slot but dries slower than a hole. This style leaves lines on some pile types and may need to be groomed after cleaning
